  2. 4 Week Elite Board and Train: Designed for minor behavior-modification needs involving anxiety, fear, timidness, reactivity, or aggression around dogs or people. Puppy Training and Socialization

Standard basic obedience begins at five months because of the dog’s growth and socialization window. For younger puppies, available options include the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy Package and an online puppy training course.

The AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy Package includes six weekly positive-reinforcement group sessions. Topics include potty training, nutrition, first aid, vaccination schedules, positive behavior shaping, socialization, imprinting, and commands such as come, sit, place, heel, and down. Testing for AKC S.T.A.R. certification is provided during the final class.

The online puppy course covers potty training, crate training, confidence building, pack leadership, basic commands taught through marker-and-reward methods, and common puppy problems.
