Depending on the selected program, training may include foundational obedience, on- and off-leash work, structured repetition, owner education, and training around distractions.

Available obedience Board and Train options:

  • 2 Week Foundation Board and Train: Designed for dogs that need on- and off-leash obedience without behavior-modification needs. The program includes six guaranteed commands, full off-leash recall, work around multiple distractions, household manners, an e-collar, and an owner turnover and education session.
  • 4 Week Elite Board and Train: Provides customized on- and off-leash obedience for dogs without behavior-modification needs. Puppy Training and Socialization

Early foundations such as potty training, crate training, socialization, and positive behavior shaping can begin when a puppy comes home. Standard basic obedience begins at five months because of the dog’s growth and socialization window.

The AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy Package includes six weekly positive-reinforcement group sessions. Topics include potty training, nutrition, first aid, vaccination schedules, positive behavior shaping, socialization, imprinting, and commands such as come, sit, place, heel, and down. Testing for AKC S.T.A.R. certification is provided during the final class.

An online puppy training course is also available. It covers potty and crate training, confidence building, pack leadership, basic commands taught through marker-and-reward methods, and common puppy problems.

A combined Basic and Advanced Group Lesson Program includes eight facility lessons and training supplies.

Behavior Modification Training

Behavior-modification lesson programs address anxiety, fear, reactivity, and aggression involving dogs or people. The 8 Lesson program is designed for minor anxiety or reactivity concerns and is not intended for dogs that have attacked or bitten a dog or person. The 12 Lesson program addresses minor to moderate concerns involving anxiety, fear, reactivity, or aggression.

Depending on the selected program, training may include foundational obedience, customized owner education, daily homework, calming and decompression skills, and training supplies.
