The 2-Week Foundation Board and Train provides on- and off-leash obedience for dogs without behavior-modification needs. Published skills include sit, down, place, heel, off, full off-leash recall, household manners, and work around distractions. The 4-Week Elite Board and Train provides customized on- and off-leash obedience, owner education, homework, supplies, and an owner turnover session. Puppy Training Programs

The AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy Package includes six weekly positive-reinforcement group sessions. Topics include potty training, nutrition, first aid, vaccination schedules, positive behavior shaping, socialization, imprinting, and commands such as come, sit, place, heel, and down. Testing for AKC S.T.A.R. certification is provided during the final class. Standard basic obedience begins at five months because of the dog’s growth and socialization window.

An online puppy training course is also available. It covers potty training, crate training, confidence building, pack leadership, basic commands taught through marker-and-reward methods, and common puppy problems.

Behavior Modification Training

Behavior-modification options include lesson-based training and Board and Train programs. The 8 Lesson Behavior Modification program is designed for minor anxiety or reactivity involving dogs or people and is not intended for dogs that have attacked or bitten a dog or person.

The 12 Lesson Behavior Modification program addresses minor to moderate anxiety, fear, reactivity, or aggression involving dogs or people. It includes foundational skills, additional behavior-modification lessons, customized owner education, homework, and training supplies.

Board and Train options are available in four-, eight-, and ten-week formats for minor, moderate, and severe behavior-modification needs. Depending on the program, training may include foundational obedience, customized behavior work, calming and decompression skills, owner education, homework, or go-home plans.
